This SPARC focus includes an interdisciplinary approach to physical education, leadership, and wellness.

Available to students are courses in Physical Education, Fitness, Outdoor Education, Kinesiology, Anatomy, Sports Psychology, Leadership in Sport, and Sports Administration.

Students will learn to work collaboratively and synergistically in teams with strong interpersonal and team-related skills, including effective management of team dynamics and challenges.

To achieve balance in this SPARC focus, students will also take a variety of other courses such as Arts, Humanities, Science, and Technology.

How does this affect my timetable?

A SPARC entitles a student to reach ahead in their subject area of choice.  Typically, it means taking 2 courses in your favourite subject each school year.

Student voice is important to creating the timetable of your dreams.  Any extra elective courses will be chosen by the students based on interest.
